Located on the northwest shore of Long Point Inner Bay, just east of Port Rowan, Bayview Harbour is the spot to be on Lake Erie's Gold Coast.
A "summer sanctuary" that's protected by Long Point Peninsula to the west and south, its location provides ideal conditions for recreational boating, swimming and fishing.

Time To Re-Sign!

September 4, 2018

And so it begins!
I hope everyone has enjoyed their Summer to the fullest!
We are now into the beginning of the Fall Season and all that comes with it....Re-signing of Contracts for Dockage and the Reserving of Slips for next season.  Payments are due by Sept. 30th (50% Down ) to reserve your slips.  The Balance owing is due by or on April 1st, 2019.
I understand that there may be some questions regarding some of the changes we, as management, are making at the Marina.  Jamie, I (Karen), or both of us plan to make ourselves available this coming Sat, the 8th, at 10:00am for an hour or so.  A "Town Hall' meeting of sorts, to better answer any concerns for the future of the Marina.
If anyone would like to pose questions in advance, they can email them to me, or, leave them at the office with Josh or Malcolm. Together, we will do our best to give satisfactory answers.

Letter Of Notice To Customers!

August 15, 2018

We hope that you have all been able to get out on the water and enjoy this Summer.  We apologize for any disturbance caused by the completion of construction in the new Slip Area.  As with any large scale project, there has been some unexpected delays!  As you can see, the new docks, pedestals and pads are almost ready for boats.
This new section will remain priced at $60/ft, but will be a minimum 30ft charge.  The price will include one 30amp plug per boat.  A second 30amp plug will be available for a flat seasonal fee of $300.  Each slip has a new concrete pad that is 13 x 13ft. Allowed on each pad is a 10 x 12ft black, metal, hard top gazebo, (such as the Essex Model from Cdn Tire) and up to three dock boxes.  The dock boxes must be confirgured so that they remain on the concrete!  For example, a stand up Rubbermaid cupboard of 6'4" in height x 4' wide and a dock box of 4'x2'x2'.  All personal items must be stored on the concrete pads.  No over sized sheds, cupboards, sinks, stairs, steps, walls, or wall unit construction of any kind will be permitted.
The North Wall will remain the small boat section.  A 9' beam will be the cutoff with a max LOA of 28', including the bow pulpit and swim platform.  All boats under this size will eventually be moved to the North Wall, (unless you pay the min footage charge for your section).  All boats over this size will be relocated to a larger slip in the New Section or the South Basin.
Our plans to replace the seawall on the North side will be postponed.  We feel that there have been significant enough changes over the course of the past calendar year.  We wish to allow the 'dust to settle' somewhat so our existing clientele can better adapt to the changes we have made and are making.
Please see the Management to discuss any specific requirements you may have.

Summer Is Underway!

July 9, 2018

Hi All!
I hope everyone has had the chance to enjoy the last couple weekends on their respective boats.  Finally, we are getting some great weather.
We are almost finished with the installation of brand new power and water to our new big boat slips. This new section will be available for Spring 2019. We are pleased at how stable the new 30ft docks are, and how nice the new power pedestals look.  Soon, we will have a new look for the slip areas.  We so appreciate our existing customer's patience with all the construction.  This will be a Minimum 30ft section of the marina.
We are committed to continue on with improvements to the marina.  We will notify customers by mid-August of this Winter's work.
 Thank You!
 Karen, ( The Management)

Update on Bayview Harbour Opening

April 18, 2018

Hi All!  As I'm sure you are all aware, we have been working very hard at readying the marina for opening.  Unfortunately, Mother Nature has not cooperated one little bit!  We did sustain some damage to the marina buildings in the ice storm on the weekend.  It has made an already long list even longer.  In order to ensure that the in water work can be completed so that the slips and channels are all safe for your boats, we are asking you to delay your launch dates for at least another week.  That puts us into the week of May 5th.
Please confirm with Karen when you are putting in your boats!
I realize the you are all anxious to get your boating season underway, but a few days of nicer weather will make all the difference to your experience here at Bayview this Summer.  Thank you For your cooperation!

Karen and Jamie

Bayview Harbour 2018 Opening!

February 18, 2018

Hi to all!

We at Bayview are looking forward to Spring and the beginning of boating season.

Jamie and I are pleased to say that we are on our way to completing 450ft of new seawall, and building and installing new 30ft finger docks.

Depending on the weather, and the progress of the work being done, we will probably have the gates to the marina open the last weekend in April. We understand that everyone will be anxious to open, clean, and ready their boats for the water.  No boats will be allowed in the water however before May 1st.

Just a reminder to those customers who are owing for the second half of their dockage fees. Payments are due by March 15th.  Cheques can be made Payable to Bayview Harbour Marina Inc., and mailed to 156 Wolven St., PO Box 515, Port Rowan, On.,  N0E 1M0

I, Karen, can always be reached by email:  bayviewharbourmarina@gmail.com

Hope to see you all soon!
